![]() To me photography is a continuum from thinking about what subjects to record all the way through to a finished picture. As a 10-year old I found the whole thing magical: I fell in love with processing then and I've never fallen out of it. I learnt photo processing (in the wet darkroom, not digital) long before I touched a camera. IMO - or you'll spend as much time editing as you do taking photos. We all make mistakes sometimes and in such cases there's nothing wrong with using any technique to rescue things, but that's not what editing is primarily for. That's very important - too many people think that editing is intended to compensate for poor camera technique. You'll want to spend some time getting your very best straight out of the camera images before you wade into editing, It is amazing and very easy compared to the Photoshop Elements I got for a Christmas present.īut.I'm really glad I waited. ![]() I waited 4 months before I downloaded the free Faststone Image Viewer/Editor today.
